A competition entry for a mixed use development in Manhattan, Kansas.

The exiting structure was formerly a Woolworth's Department store just off Pontz Avenue. We proposed slicing through the block to create interior access and daylight to the ground level commercial space. Atop the existing structure would have been nine market rate apartment homes.

The project was a collaboration with our friends at BoxLab.
